Don't Worry! The Kiss of Death is not a virus and will not harm your system or your files.
the "Kiss of Death" happens in the POP server when it detects a second copy of the pop server running against the same INBOX. This can happen if the user does not disconnect properly or is connected twice at the same time.
Entering your password at the prompt provided and selecting ok should clear the error.
